UPCOMING EVENTS

WISH WEEK

Wish Week is a week in the spring semester that Student Council hosts to promote awareness and support towards charitable causes such as fatal illnesses and communal tragedies. We host competitions throughout the week after school, in which teams sign up and people come to watch - both parties pay to participate. We also sell goodies throughout the week to raise additional funds for our charity.

This year Wish Week at Prairie View High School is in honor of Mrs. Lynn Fallows, who was a beloved educator and member of the Brighton 27J community. Mrs. Fallows is held in a special place in the community here at PVHS as she was a crucial part to building the culture and environment as our campus first opened thirteen years ago. Fallows recently passed away to the means of ovarian cancer. She is an infinite inspiration to our community as her fight was long and well-fought with poise and elegance.

To establish a sense of forever of her presence at Prairie View High School  we will be using our proceeds made during Wish Week to build a fountain in our front courtyard, that way her passion and love will forever emanate.
